Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take...but by the moments that take our breath away

OuR CrAzY hOuSe!!
Okay, some of you know and some of you don't but C is super O.C.D. For instance, he has to have the t.v. turned off whenever he leaves the room (even if he will return to watch it in a minute), the stools and the chairs have to be pushed in nicely after he's done, his room floor has to be free of toys if he's not playing with them, his closet door has to be shut, when he's done with a cup or plate, they have to be taken off the table and put in the sink, we run a humidifier in his room at night while he's sleeping and if he wakes up in the morning before me, he will come wake me up to turn it off. Doors have to be shut, the baby gate cannot be left open-he has to have that shut, everything has to be in the place it is supposed to be. The list goes on and on. But with the latest, he has out-done himself. The kids were eating lifesavers yesterday. P-bug has a nasty habit of sometimes spitting out what he is eating. Yesterday when he was eating the lifesavers and he spit out what he had chewed up. So there were little pieces all over the floor. I thought I had picked up all the pieces, but I guess I forgot a few. Today I was getting ready to put P-bug to sleep and C stopped me before I went upstairs. He was sitting on the floor picking a little piece of lifesaver off his sock. He couldn't get it off, so he asked me to help. P was crying so I told him to "hold-tight" I will be right back to help you. I was in P's room for about 10 minutes before I heard a knock and C say "Kas?"(that's another story). I opened to door to see C's foot sticking out at me to show me what you see below.
Three holes in his socks. When I asked him what in the world happened, he said "well, I couldn't pick it off so I got the scissors and cut it off. But now my sock has holes in them so can I go get a new one from my drawers?" This kids kills me!!!
Oh and this is Patch. He is an alaskan malimute (sp?), he is huge and has tons of hair. He is built to withstand cold temperatures. But Patch is a wimp. This is my hot tub he is laying on, he likes the warmth. The hot-tub cover has two huge dents in it. One on each side. No matter what I do - I cannot keep him off of it. So I guess I will have to live with a broken cover.
